It was one of those days spent on Lookbook, lurking around. I don’t remember how I ended up on her page, but after browsing through her looks, I can’t help but think how awesome she was in terms of expressing herself through her clothes. We befriended each other, and the more I learn about her, the lower my jaw drops to the floor. I guess its cos there are very rare moments in one’s life where they realize they actually met someone who they are totally sure will make it up there one day. That person to me is Tin. Not only is she a trendsetter, she’s a promising designer, too (talk about all that rolled into one), with an awesome personality to match! Most of her looks are something you don’t see on a daily basis, and I love how she injects a part of herself into the outfit and not make it look like she tries too hard. She is effortless. - Abbie Almasco (missabbiealodia.blogspot.com)

I really miss taking photographs. Truthfully, I have scarcely picked up my dSLR (Sorry Calix - my camera’s name!), and it’s not due to lack of interest. It’s just that these past few months had been very hectic. On a related note, I can’t wait for my Hong Kong trip this December and I CANNOT WAIT TO TAKE PHOTOS THERE.

I do not like to unveil it, but occasionally I am so rapt by someone’s style that I can’t help but ogle. Chictopian Lissa Kahayon, would most likely bring me to a halt! Lissa is an expert of versatility. She can look like a rockstar in leather jacket or don a sweet, coquettish dress. From Manila, Philippines, this tremendously stylish Love Vintage store owner absolutely has a vivacious spirit that shines no matter what she wears. Click here to read my interview with her.

RIP Daul Kim.
Check out her blog I Like to Fork Myself. She wrote her final post on November 18, Wednesday, the day before her death. Her last blog post was titled Say Hi to Forever. I am sure she will be missed by many. :(

In my search for wonderful new shopping haunts, I came across Swank Clothing, an online store which attracts both the fresh and feminine girl-next-door and the uninhibited rocker chick. They offer valiant, graphic prints and urban casual clothing that can make any lady feel youthful and at the same time look like one tough cookie.

Chictopian Karl Leuterio has caught my attention over the past year with his personal passion for fashion. Karl finds style inspiration from the fashion blogosphere, and is certainly giving back some inspiration of his own with his innovative and exceptional style. I like how he makes high fashion trends more achievable by assimilating bargain finds and DIY pieces into his ensembles. Sigh. I miss everything about CFAD (College of Fine Arts and Design). :(

That’s why I am going to visit my UST artsy fartsy friends tomorrow after my class!

I am really excited to see them! Oh boy, I can’t wait any longer. /Pardon the eyebags. Fine Arts students do not sleep!

I was over at Galleria today with my mom and I found this super kawaii Japanese store called Saizen. It is the authorized Philippine retailer of Daiso-Sanguo Inc., Japan. There really was so much interesting stuff that I had a difficult time trying to decide which items I should get. Moreover, every item being sold costs only Php 85! I ended up getting these fab items:

Needle keeper

Bear tape measure

Ribbon earphone cord manager

Sparkly shoe strings

Mini folding fan
‘Til my next Saizen shopping trip!
